* Note * F-300 Series Flow Meters should only be used on the size and type of pipe for which they were intended. Incorrect use will result in inaccurate readings and leakage problems. Wear eye protection when installing or removing flow meter.

Install the flow meter with at least the minimum dimensions called for in the drawing. Diameter of pipe times 4 from one side and diameter of pipe times 10 from the flow source direction. F-300 series flow meters must be installed on straight horizontal piping.

Use chart below for proper pitot tube drill size. Carefully remove all burns. Insert the pilot tube, with gasket in place, into the drilled pipe. Tighten the clamps alternately, a little at a time. Make certain the flow direction is towards the pitot tube opening .
