A life saver in tight spots where pipes are stacked tight together. The three inch and four inch unit doubles as either an inside coupling or a reducing bushing. The four inch fits inside four inch schedule forty pipe on both ends. It can also be used as a three inch outside coupling on both ends and therefore as a four inch inside to three inch outside reducing bushing. The three inch performs a similar function with three inch and two inch schedule forty pipe.
 

3" Inside pipe coupler / reducer, fits inside 3" schedule 40 pipe,
will also reduce 3" pipe to 2" slip fitting.

4" Inside pipe coupler / reducer, fits inside 4" schedule 40 pipe,
will also reduce 4" pipe to 3" slip fitting.

The fitting extender is designed to go over a fitting when there is not enough pipe left to make a connection.
In some cases it may be necessary to remove raised areas on the existing fitting.
This can generally be done easily with sandpaper, rasp or file.
