Directions for use
1. Start with chemically balanced water, Check pH, total alkalinity, and sanitizer levels. Circulation and filter system should be operating properly and within manufacturer’s guidelines.
2. Spa Start should be added when the sap is filled or whenever significant water is replaced, and weekly thereafter following maintenance dosage below.
3. With system operating, simply pour the correct dosage of Spa Start into the water and continue circulation for at least 15 minutes to insure proper distribution of the product.

Dosages:
New fill or significant water replacement: Add 4 oz. of Spa Start per 250 gallons of water.
Maintenance: Add 1 oz. of Spa Start per 250 gallons of water weekly.
Test for proper levels of sanitizer and pH daily.
The entire volume of water should be replaced with fresh water every 30 to 60 days depending on the amount of use. Commercial spa water should be replaced more frequently following local public health guidelines.
 

General:
Leisure Time Sodium Bromide is NOT a disinfectant. It is used to establish a reserve of bromide in spa or hot tub water. It is necessary to use a sanitizer to disinfect the water.

When used with Bromine Tabs, Sodium Bromine will ensure that the disinfection of the spa or hot tub is completely bromine based and will eliminate chlorine odors. This product should be used during the start up process of the Leisure Time Simple Spa Care Program.

Start-Up Directions::
1. Add 1/2 oz. per 100 gallons of spa water to establish a 30 ppm bromide reserve.
2. Add Brom Tabs to establish a bromine level.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 when spa is drained and refilled.
 

Weekly:
1. Treat the spa with Metal Gon according to its label directions.
2. Add Reserve (4 oz./250 gallons of spa water) directly into the spa while circulating the water to assure rapid and thorough distribution.
3. Add Renew to activate the bromide bank for a bromine residual.
